Message from the Director
Dear Students and Esteemed Parents,
Congratulations on completing your Junior Secondary School education! As you look ahead to your Senior Secondary journey, I invite you to consider a future that blends academic learning with practical skills—one that prepares you not just for exams, but for life, career, and leadership.
At TASK Institute, in proud partnership with Seton American Schools Africa, we offer a unique Senior Secondary pathway that emphasizes Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Our diploma programs are tailored to equip you with real-world skills across fields such as engineering, technology, health care, media, hospitality, agriculture, and more. Whether you dream of building software, managing a restaurant, designing fashion, or launching your own business—this is where you begin.
Let me give you a glimpse of what’s possible:
⦁ India generates over $200 billion annually from software exports, powered by tech companies like Infosys—all driven by a strong foundation in technical education.
⦁ Switzerland, despite limited natural resources, is one of the most prosperous nations due to its excellence in vocational training and banking.
⦁ Japan, South Korea, Italy, Singapore, and many others have risen to global leadership by investing in skills development, not just raw materials.
Nigeria can and must follow this path.
As a COREN-registered Engineer, I, Engr. (Princess) Unekwu Obaga-Ebota, feel deeply called to give back to our society through the development of skills and manpower. Recognized by APWEN as a STEM Ambassador, and currently collaborating with UBEB-FCT to provide vocational facilities and teacher training, I am dedicated to nurturing Nigeria’s next generation of skilled leaders.
Through initiatives such as the AFRICANA Annual STEMA Competitions and my leadership role as Chief Mentor, North Central, Mentor Nigeria - Youth Aimed Mentorship (YAM), I champion the UN’s goals on youth skills, employability, and innovation.
Now, it’s your turn.
Enroll in our TVET Senior Secondary Programme and be part of a bold new future. Let your journey begin not just in a classroom—but in a studio, lab, workshop, farm, or tech hub—where your hands and your mind shape tomorrow.
We don’t just educate. We equip. We inspire. We make systems work.
Welcome to TASK Institute.
Warm regards,
Engr. (Princess) Unekwu Obaga-Ebota
