Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs
Introduction
Welcome to Seton American Schools' Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, offered under seven distinct academies. These academies are designed to meet the evolving demands of the technical workforce in various industries, including health sciences, media, engineering, and more.
Academies Overview
The Seton Academies Portfolio (SAP) assists students in mapping out their academy coursework throughout high school. This portfolio includes comprehensive course information and additional resources to guide students. Students are encouraged to select an academy pathway during their 9th or 10th grade year. Families with questions about their chosen pathway should contact the School Administrator. Students should collaborate with counselors to register for academy coursework and ensure they meet all graduation requirements.
Graduation Requirements and Pathway Selection
Students must meet specific coursework and certification requirements to graduate from their chosen academy. Each academy offers tailored pathways that provide hands-on experience and practical skills aligned with industry standards. Students should regularly consult with their academic counselors to ensure they are on track for graduation and meeting all necessary requirements.
Mission and Vision Alignment
Each academy at Seton American School is designed to provide a comprehensive, real-world education that prepares students for successful careers in their chosen fields. The distinct features and benefits of each academy ensure that students receive specialized training, valuable industry connections, and hands-on experiences that align with our mission to cultivate future leaders and innovators. By integrating rigorous academic programs with practical applications and community engagement, Seton American School fosters a holistic education that empowers students to achieve excellence and make a positive impact on the world.
